WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER IN PORTUGAL 🇵🇹
HI, I AM ANDRÉ!
I’m so glad you’re here! I’m André, a professional wedding photographer capturing love stories since 2018.
My journey with photography began when I was just 10 years old, borrowing my catechist’s camera to capture the world around me — and that curiosity never left. Over the years I explored many corners of photography, but it was weddings that truly captured my heart.
In 2022, I also began studying medicine — an unexpected pairing, maybe, but photography and medicine share the same heartbeat: people.
Whether I’m behind the camera or in conversation, I’m driven by genuine curiosity and care for the people in front of me. As an extrovert, I thrive on meeting new couples and creating a relaxed, easygoing atmosphere on your big day.
I believe every couple has a story worth telling, and I’d be honored to help tell yours.
WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT?
More than gear or technical skill, what matters most to me is the relationship I build with the people I photograph. That connection is what creates real trust and comfort in front of the camera.
I often picture myself in the bride and groom’s shoes and try to be the photographer I’d want at my own wedding — interactive, present, and genuinely fun to have around.
WHAT IS MY OBJECTIVE?
With a camera in each hand, my goal isn’t just to capture the magical moments of your day — it’s to turn those moments into MEMORIES that last a lifetime.
BEHIND THE SCENES
PASSIONS OUTSIDE PHOTOGRAPHY:

Medicine
I’m currently a medical student, and it’s taught me more than I expected — patience, empathy, and how to stay steady when things get intense. Caring for people, in one way or another, is something I never want to stop doing.

Music
Since I was 10, I’ve played the accordion. A few years later I joined the biggest gospel choir in Portugal as a tenor — and to this day, music is what gets me in the right mood before a big shoot.

Sailing
My passion for the sea started young and never really left. There’s something about being out on the water that clears my mind and keeps me grounded, no matter how busy life gets.

Hunting
This is something I inherited from my grandfather. Knowing how to respect nature, and at the same time, know where the things we eat truly come from — it’s a tradition that keeps me close to my roots.
